This is an exciting opportunity to join a Microsoft Gold Partner in Digital Transformation who are on an upwards trajectory of circa 150% growth YOY.

Specialising in the design and deployment of Microsoft technologies at scale including; Modern Workplace, Azure Cloud infrastructure, SharePoint, Teams/Teams Voice, PowerBi & PowerApps development, and Anywhere-365 Contact Centres. Also providing consulting around IT Operations, Cyber Security, Cloud Transformation, IT Strategy and Operating Models.

They are looking for a Senior Bid Coordinator / future Bid Team Manager to support their growing IT Services and business development team, in what is a newly created role. There is scope for advancement within the Business as the newly created Bid Team evolves and an improved Bid process develop.

A key facet of the role is to manage the effective production of proposals (e.g. ITT, RFI, RFQ, RFP) and ensure answers to client questions, defining the conditions for success.

This role will involve working closely with the Executive Team, Technical Leads, support and operations teams to identify requirements and provide content for each bid situation; owning, developing and leading the formal bidding process to the businesses clients.

This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills.

Key responsibilities:
•Proactively identify relevant opportunities on public sector frameworks ie: forecast of potential new opportunities becoming available.
•Take ownership of the bid response process
•Manage the bid qualification process (bid/no bid) for new opportunities
•Understand, dissect and review commercial and contractual requirements
•Conduct post-bid review sessions
•Maintain 3rd party reporting, e.g. keep up to date with public sector reporting requirements
•Maintain and improve bid templates & continual improvement of the bid process
•Building a ‘Bid’ Library of re-useable content and artifacts for future tenders

Skills and qualifications:
Worked in a growing IT Environment / Managed Service Provider previously
•Experience of responding to public sector tender requests in a timely and managed fashion
•Experience of Welsh Public Sector Tenders / Bids would be an advantage
•Previous experience of working with government procurement tools and sourcing
•frameworks and techniques
•Experience of managing the end to end process of tenders to submitting successful bids
•Understanding of technical and financial techniques and concepts
•An enthusiasm for technology and building relationships with your colleagues and external clients/procurement leads
•Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable working with senior managers
•High level knowledge of Word, Excel and ideally PowerPoint
•Experience of (preferably technology/MPS-based) bid support
•Research-biased and an analytical mind
•Commercial acumen and common sense

Interviews will be held in January, with a targeted start date In February 2021.

Due to the urgency of the requirement our client will conduct the interview process via Teams video conference. They are also able to on board the successful applicant remotely.

Important: Although initially a remote role you MUST be UK based and able to travel occasionally when safe to do so to our Cardiff Offices.
